Iniciando mis vacaciones con el pie derecho tenemos el Weekly Photo Challenge, cuando leí el tema de esta semana, no pude dejar de pensar en esta imagen.

Silueta, cuando estamos valorando una radiografía  dentro de las cosas que debemos revisar son las siluetas de las distintas estructuras que se muestran, y en este caso es la silueta cardíaca la que más nos llama la atención. Para aquellos no familiarizados con el termino, la cardiomegalia es el agrandamiento anormal del corazón  y está clasificado en 4 estados, siendo esta del grado 4 conde el corazón es lo suficientemente grande como para tocar la parrilla costal izquierda, durante la exploración física de esta pacientita pudimos sentir el frote cardíaco en los espacios intercostales.

Silhouette, when we are evaluating a radiography, from all the things that we must check, there is the silhouette of the different structures that are shown, and in this case, whats takes more of the attention, it’s the cardiac silhouette. For those who are not familiar with the term, cardiomegaly, it’s the abnormal growth of the heart, and it’s classified in 4 stages, being the 4 grade, when the heart it’s large enough to touch the left ribcage, during physical exploration,we can feel the the cardiac rub between the rib spaces.
